Job summary

CBSbutler Ltd. is seeking an experienced DevOps Architect to join a high-profile UK Government programme in Corsham.

You will design and deliver secure DevOps platforms within air-gapped environments, ensuring architecture aligns with accreditation standards and modern tooling. You will lead the design, implementation and ongoing assurance of DevOps tooling, enabling efficient software delivery while meeting security requirements; this role offers hybrid working with 2 days on site.

Qualifications

DV clearance is required and active.
Experience leading DevOps design in secure/regulated environments.
Design and implement secure DevOps platforms for air-gapped environments.
Produce HLDs/LLDs and security artefacts.
Strong scripting (Bash, Python) and YAML.
IaC and automation experience.

Responsibilities

Architect and implement secure DevOps platforms using GitLab, Jira, Confluence and Ansible.
Design integrated CI/CD solutions for air-gapped environments.
Develop secure software promotion, patching and update processes.
Define toolchain integration and automation strategies.
Champion Infrastructure as Code, automation and DevOps best practices.
Produce High-Level and Low-Level Designs (HLDs/LLDs), security artefacts.
Conduct technical design reviews, security assurance and compliance activities.
Support platform optimisation, troubleshooting and stakeholder engagement across secure customer sites.
