Job summary

Technical Partners International seeks an experienced Configuration Manager (DV) to operate in a highly regulated nuclear and defence environment in Reading. The role focuses on completing, configuring and handing over safety-critical systems.

You will join a specialist business unit within a major international engineering group, working closely with end users and delivery teams to align engineering information with assets.

Qualifications

• Experience establishing and maintaining configuration baselines.
• Ability to resolve gaps between design information and assets.
• Knowledge of engineering change control and configuration governance.
• Experience in construction, commissioning or handover contexts.
• Experience working with senior technical and project stakeholders.
• DV clearance required or ability to obtain DV clearance.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain configuration baselines across projects.
• Conduct gap analyses to confirm baselines.
• Define ownership and accountability for configuration data.
• Integrate configuration requirements with engineering, project and delivery teams.
• Map baselines to project areas and lifecycle packages.
• Ensure configuration information is accurate, accessible and controlled.
• Lead resolution of blockers and open points with stakeholders.
• Develop closure strategies for outstanding issues.
• Support handover of assets to end users.
