Duty Solicitor 0-4 PQE

Location: London

Salary: £40,000 - £45,000

A highly regarded Legal 500 ranked London-based law firm is seeking a Duty Solicitor with 0-4 years PQE due to growth. The successful candidate will have a solid background in high street or Criminal Law and possess or be working towards Duty Solicitor Accreditation. Salary is upwards of £40,000, depending on experience, with comprehensive benefits.

The Duty Solicitor will join a busy department, managing a caseload of general crime matters. Responsibilities include providing advice at court and police stations, preparing and reviewing files for magistrates and crown court cases, advocacy in magistrate’s court for trials, bail applications, and remand hearings. There is potential for progression towards managing serious crime and VHCC matters.
