Responsibilities include:

1. You’ll supply prescriptions, deliver NHS and private services, and provide healthcare advice to customers.
2. You’ll play an active role in our charity support program, giving advice to people at risk of or living with cancer, heart disease, and diabetes.
3. You’ll support the Pharmacy Manager to lead, train, and develop colleagues.
4. You’ll assist in building relationships with Primary Care Networks and GPs’ surgeries.
5. You’ll ensure accurate payment claims for NHS-covered items.

Qualifications and requirements:

• You’ll have a Pharmacy Degree.
• You’ll be passionate about leading and empowering a team.
• You’ll be a member of the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) and willing to join the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme – we’ll assist with this when you join.
• You’ll complete a DBS check (organized by us) prior to employment.

Our Duty Pharmacy Managers are supported by wider store teams, such as security, stock replenishment, range management, and administration, to ensure a smooth and safe experience for customers and colleagues.

Tesco Pharmacies offers colleagues flexible working arrangements and control over their work rotas, enabling overlap periods with other pharmacists for collaborative patient care and colleague development.
