Job Summary

Are you a self-motivated, committed, and enthusiastic paramedic looking to take the next step in your career? Joining our small team as Duty Operations Manager, you will provide leadership and management to a team of Paramedics, Technicians and ECAs to deliver excellence in the field of pre-hospital care.

Main duties of the job

The Isle of Man Ambulance Service is a unique place to work; you will work in partnership with colleagues across Manx Care and the wider emergency services to provide support and leadership to staff across the ambulance service. Providing incident command and clinical support you will also be responsible for staff welfare, rota management and absence management. If you are intrinsically motivated and able to use your excellent leadership skills to deliver meaningful results and drive innovation in a busy service, we want to hear from you! Interviews and an assessment centre will be held at Keyll Darree, Nobles Hospital on 14 August 2025, more details will be provided to candidates who are shortlisted. Please note we are unable to offer alternative dates, and shortlisted candidates must be available to attend in person.
