We are recruiting a Duty Nurse Manager to join our nursing team at The Princess Grace Hospital, currently rated “Good” by the CQC.
The Duty Nurse Manager team is an integral part of the operational running of the hospital, responsible for managing the in and out of hours challenges faced by an acute hospital.
This role requires a strong leadership background, excellent communication skills, experience in key decision making, risk management, problem solving, and good governance understanding.
The Duty Nurse Manager will work closely with the Matron & Chief Nursing Officer to support visible leadership at the Princess Grace Hospital.
The Duty Nurse Manager is responsible for the safe and effective running of the site 24/7 and holds responsibilities including coordinating patient flow, responding to Major Incident situations/alerts, fire safety responsibilities, out of hours management, and providing senior support to all units.
