Salary: £14.16 per hour/£29,452 per Annum+ excellent benefits
Hours: 2040 hours per week (mix of early, late & weekend shifts)
We are working on behalf of a leading leisure services provider to recruit a Duty Manager to join a dynamic and customer-focused team operating across five leisure centres in Oxford. This is a fantastic opportunity to step into a vital role supporting community health and wellbeing.
About the Role:
You will play a key part in leading the day-to-day operations of busy, multi-functional leisure centres. This includes managing staff such as lifeguards and supervisors, ensuring health and safety protocols are followed, and maintaining excellent customer service standards.
You will be required to work across five sites and be flexible to cover a variety of shifts, including weekends and evenings, is essential.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily operations across multiple leisure sites
  • Manage and support site teams to ensure high service standards
  • Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and operational procedures
  • Create a welcoming and safe environment for customers
  • Develop positive relationships with partners, guests, and community stakeholders
About You:
Were looking for a proactive, hands-on individual with a passion for leisure and fitness. Youll have:
  • Experience working directly with customers, preferably in the leisure or hospitality industry
  • Previous operational management or supervisory experience
  • A positive, team-focused attitude and strong leadership skills
Desirable qualifications:
  • National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ)
  • First Aidat Work
  • Pool Plant Operator Certificate
