Hear from some of the team:
"Hi, I'm Vicki and I joined Freedom Leisure in 2021. Previously I had been working in retail, like many people I decided I wanted to try something new. I joined the Freedom team as a lifeguard with my Lifeguard qualification funded by Freedom Leisure. After a short period, a vacancy came up in the Duty Manager team, and I was given an opportunity to take on the responsibilities. This opened up further training such as Pool Plant Operations, which was all new to me. I have loved every minute of working in a fantastic team, love the fast-paced environment, and interacting with the range of customers we have. I will soon be starting my level one swim teacher training, which I can't wait for as this is something I have always been passionate about. I'd urge anyone who's thinking of trying something new to give us a go."
"I enjoy the diversity of my shifts; every day is different."
"I like dealing with people, it's a great working environment, and there are opportunities to progress through the industry - with the right attitude, the sky's the limit!"
The role will be busy and varied; no two days will be the same. You will have a good level of autonomy, and we'll be interested in your ideas and suggestions. You will be involved in managing a motivated staff team, organising events and activities, helping customers, making plans for the centre, and contributing to genuinely improving people's lives through leisure.
In the event that a high volume of suitable applications are received, the post may close prior to the specified closing date. Please apply as soon as possible if interested.
Hours: 37 hours a week, Monday to Sunday (rota basis)
