Job summary

Northfleet School for Girls is seeking a permanent Duty Manager to support the school’s duty management system and to work closely with the Pastoral team in effectively managing behaviour concerns in class and around the school. You will work with students and families to address a range of day-to-day behaviours.

This post is a permanent role for 36.5 hours per week across 5 days, during 39 weeks per year (term time only).

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a similar role in schools.
• Strong behaviour management and de-escalation skills.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
• Experience supporting young people with additional needs is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Support the duty management system and work with Pastoral staff on behaviour management across the site.
• Engage with students and families to address day-to-day behavioural concerns.
