CRIMINAL SOLICITOR (DUTY QUALIFIED), 2+ YEARS PQE, BLACK COUNTRY, £45,000+ (DOE)

Leading regional law firm is currently looking to hire a Duty Criminal Solicitor with a minimum of 2+ years PQE. This well-recognised law firm has an excellent reputation in criminal law.

  1. Responsibilities:
  2. Join a successful team handling a broad range of criminal matters, attending Police Stations and Magistrates’ Courts as part of the Court and Police Station Duty Rota Scheme.
  3. Manage a complex and sensitive caseload, including bail applications, serious fraud, white-collar crime, murder, drug, and theft cases.
  4. Demonstrate a proven track record in criminal matters, confidently attending police stations and representing clients in court.
  5. Must have achieved Duty Status and be willing to be listed on the Duty rota.
  6. Provide high-quality legal aid and private client services with passion and dedication.
  7. Be part of an ambitious Legal 500 firm with plans for expansion across the West Midlands and Warwickshire.
  8. Opportunities for career progression to senior roles will be available.
