Duty Care Manager - McCarthy Stone, Gilbert Court, Swindon

McCarthy Stone is seeking a professional Duty Care Manager to join their team at Gilbert Court, a stunning Retirement Living PLUS development in Swindon, offering luxury apartments for active and independent older adults.

This role is not traditional care; it's better!

Salary & Hours

Base salary: £13.56 per hour (day rate) and £11.44 per hour (sleeping night rate), plus additional pay.

Hours: 16.75 per week, including day shifts (08:45 - 16:30 or 16:15 - 21:30) and night shifts (21:30 - 09:00). The sleep-in shift is from 23:00 to 07:00, providing emergency support only.

About You
  • Warm, friendly, organized, and self-motivated
  • Experience in care or support environment
  • Excellent care skills
  • Preferably hold a QCF Level 3 in Health and Social Care (Adults), or relevant qualifications and experience
  • Responsible for security, safety, and wellbeing of residents
  • Ability to facilitate community activities
  • Motivated to develop skills, lead by example, and think on your feet
  • Passionate about improving the wellbeing and happiness of older people
