McCarthy Stone is looking for a professional Duty Care Manager to join their team at the prestigious Shackleton Place development in Devizes.
This development is a ‘Retirement Living Plus’ community, built by multi award-winning McCarthy and Stone, offering a fantastic lifestyle for the over 70s.
Base salary: £14.02 per hour day rate and £11.44 sleeping night rate per hour, plus additional pay (see below).
Hours: 36 per week, including day and night shifts.
Day shifts vary between 08:45-16:30 or 16:15-09:30.
Night shifts are from 21:30 to 09:00.
Sleep-in shifts are from 23:00 to 07:00, providing emergency support to homeowners during that time.
Support the management and smooth running of a thriving community of active, independent older adults, ensuring they enjoy their best lives in elegant apartments within a beautiful setting, with always someone available to help if needed.
You will be warm, friendly, organized, and self-motivated, with experience in care or support environments and excellent care skills.
Preferably, you will hold a QCF Health and Social Care (Adults) Level 3 qualification, but relevant experience and alternative qualifications will be considered.
You will be responsible for managing security, ensuring the safety and wellbeing of homeowners, and overseeing the Care and Support teams.
You will also facilitate activities that promote community spirit within the development.
