Join Our Team as a Duties Project Officer!

About the Role:

As a Duties Project Officer, you will play a pivotal role in implementing the Looked After Children (CLA) Virtual School New Duties for Children with a Social Worker (CWSW). You will be the go-to person for advising and supporting colleagues, consultants, schools, and other agencies. Your expertise will help ensure that we meet the objectives set by the Department for Education.

Contract Details:

  • Contract Type: Temporary
  • Contract Length: 3 months
  • Hourly Rate: 21.33 per hour PAYE - 28.26 per Hour Umbrella
  • Working Pattern: Full Time - in office 3 days per week
  • Location: Ealing, London (just a 12-minute walk from Ealing Broadway train station)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Management: Oversee the implementation of CWSW New Duties and ensure all objectives are met timely.
  • Advisory Support: Provide guidance to colleagues and stakeholders regarding CWSW New Duties and relevant legislation.
  • Legislative Knowledge: Maintain a deep understanding of legislation, guidance, and Ealing's safeguarding procedures related to CLA and CWSW.
  • Budget Management: Prepare and monitor budget information, manage expenditures, and facilitate the invoicing process.
  • Data Analysis: Collect and analyse data for management insights and prepare detailed reports and presentations.
  • Recruitment Management: draught role profiles and manage the recruitment process for relevant positions.
  • Course Management: Oversee AC Education online course listings.
  • Marketing & Presentations: Create engaging marketing materials and PowerPoint presentations to enhance communication.
  • Meeting Coordination: Arrange and clerk meetings with council staff, schools, agencies, and consultants to foster collaboration.
