Dutch speaking Application Engineer

Location: Remote
Must be based in UK
Salary: Up to £50,000 per annum plus benefits

The company: Leading provider of CAD/CAM software solutions for both domestic and international clients in the manufacturing industry.

Main duties:

1. To provide application engineering support in the UK and Benelux regions, collaborating with the technical team to expertly address customer queries.
2. To enhance the customer technical support experience by proactively addressing the customer's needs regarding cost, timing, quality, and key issues.
3. To act as a technical liaison between the company, sales partners, and both new and existing customers, ensuring that all clients receive outstanding support for their technical questions and issues.
4. To foster positive relationships and enhance customer satisfaction through effective communication and problem-solving.
5. To cultivate an understanding of the dynamic UK and Benelux CAD/CAM market, embracing the technology, navigating the competition, and seizing the opportunities ahead.
6. To enhance support for existing customers, and to conduct on-site visits and offer assistance with applications programming.
7. To create and facilitate training sessions that empower both prospective and existing customers, ensuring they have the knowledge and skills they need to succeed.
8. To effectively program, operate, and maintain machine tools, providing valuable support to both prospective and existing customers.
9. To visit customers within UK and Benelux region.

The candidate:

1. Fluent Dutch (both written and spoken)
2. Knowledge of any other European language would be an advantage but is not necessary
3. Experience in providing technical support to customers in the CAD/CAM industry
4. Experience in Applications Engineering position
5. Excellent working knowledge of CAD/CAM programming software
6. Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving and risk assessment skills.
7. Full UK driving licence
8. Professional, and positive approach to developing and maintaining relationships

The salary: Up to £50,000 per annum plus benefits
