Job summary

Amazon is seeking a ML Data Associate to support the foundational labeling of speech, text, audio, and video data, assessing and improving Alexa’s performance in everyday scenarios.

Your role involves following guidelines to deliver high-quality annotated data, acting as a subject-matter expert for ML data workflows, and ensuring confidentiality per Amazon policies. You will join a diverse, office-based team with regular trainings and events.

Qualifications

• Speak, write and read fluently in Dutch
• Written and spoken English essential (CEFR C1+)
• Associate’s Degree or related work experience
• Strong business writing, reports and professional correspondence
• Advanced reading comprehension and ability to analyze complex documents
• Analytical thinking and structured problem solving
• Ability to interpret detailed instructions across projects
• Proficient research skills using multiple sources
• Proven attention to detail in complex tasks and documents

Responsibilities

• Maintain strict confidentiality and protect customer privacy
• Work with data types including text, speech, image and video
• Provide high-quality labeled data using guidelines and in-house tools
• Serve as SME for ML data workflows and labeling processes
• Make logical decisions even with ambiguous information
• Demonstrate attention to detail and adaptability across tasks
• Support daily KPIs such as AHT, quality and turnaround times
• Identify root causes and propose improvements for labeling quality
• Suggest SOP/tool changes to unblock operations
• Offer floor support to resolve internal queries during execution
