Role Overview:
As a Crew Team Leader, you are part of the management team with clearly defined roles and responsibilities to ensure the store operates safely, the team is managed effectively, and we consistently deliver excellent service.
Role Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional service, using your knowledge to help customers find the best products for in-store and multi-channel sales.
- Resolve customer issues effectively and promptly at the store level.
- Offer attentive service at the tills, processing POS transactions, and thanking customers.
- Build loyalty and 'Customers for Life' through opt-in at the POS.
- Delegate tasks and demonstrate responsibilities to team members while managing daily store operations.
- Understand retail business aspects, such as reading reports, analyzing data, and making informed decisions.
- Ensure the store adheres to visual guidelines, maintaining standards through product presentation, replenishment, housekeeping, and seasonal setups.
- Safeguard the business by ensuring compliance with policies, procedures, loss prevention, and health & safety standards, especially in the absence of management.
- Stay updated with company products, activities, and promotions, implementing changes as needed.
Role Competencies:
- Proven leadership skills; recognized as a leader among peers.
- Experience in customer service is essential.
- Experience with POS management, daily banking, and meeting deadlines.
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
- Collaborative, positive attitude, confident in taking initiative and working independently.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure, quickly learn new tasks, and retain information.
- Team player, eager to participate and contribute.
