Job summary

Manulife Bermuda Branch is seeking a detail-oriented professional to review policy ownership structures, identify ultimate beneficial owners, and assess risk for onboarding and policy changes. The role requires strong regulatory knowledge and a commitment to timely, high-quality client service.

You will evaluate collateral assignments, ensure accuracy before acknowledgement, and contribute to continuous process improvements within a global team. Hybrid working arrangements are available.

Qualifications

• Excellent organizational and time management abilities are required.
• Understanding of due diligence requirements for individuals, entities and trusts is essential.
• Familiarity with FATCA/CRS regulations and Bermuda AML/ATF regulations under the Proceeds of Crime Act is needed.
• Strong customer service and communication skills are necessary.
• Candidate must multitask and prioritize in a high-volume, deadline-driven environment.
• Independent work style with accountability for actions is important.
• Sensitivity and adaptability to international and cultural differences is valued.

Responsibilities

• Review policy ownership structures including individuals, entities, and trusts, identifying ultimate beneficial owners for risk assessment.
• Conduct client risk assessments ensuring appropriate due diligence at onboarding and for inforce policy changes.
• Review legal collateral assignment documents, noting discrepancies between submitted and approved versions before acknowledgement.
• Meet established service standards in terms of turnaround time and quality, prioritizing urgent cases and critical issues.
• Actively participate in the continuous improvement of business processes.
