Job summary

EBRD in London seeks a Market Data/Research Analyst within Operations & Service Management to support screening and due diligence across the bank's portfolio. You will conduct research using online sources, deliver timely market intelligence, and help improve screening processes in line with integrity guidelines.

You will work in a 1st line of defence function, coordinating with Compliance and Banking teams, and participate in continuous improvement initiatives and a hybrid work model.

Qualifications

• Excellent written and verbal English communication.
• Experience in a corporate research unit within financial services.
• Understanding of current market practices and related tech platforms.
• Ability to balance workload and communicate with Banking and Compliance teams.
• Positive, collaborative, solution-oriented with KYC/AML/research exposure.
• Fluent English; additional languages (Russian/French/Arabic/Turkish) advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Execute screening/research processes to established service standards.
• Maintain high operational performance in quality, timeliness and customer satisfaction.
• Respond to queries promptly and escalate as needed across the three lines of defence.
• Inform decision-makers of risks involved with projects/transactions.
• Provide capacity support to the wider screening team during deadlines.
