Ductwork CAD Technician

Candidates interested in this role must have a technical design background and previous ductwork and sheet metal experience.

The main purpose of this role is to produce 2D AutoCAD drawings of kitchen ventilation systems for customer approval.

Candidates suited to this role will have experience in the following:

1. A technical design background and experience with sheet metal and ductwork systems.
2. Experience in Autodesk AutoCAD, Inventor & Vault OR similar design platforms following the same design practices.
3. A background and knowledge of commercial kitchen ventilation (desirable).
4. Revit experience (desirable).

Main duties of the role are:

1. Calculate required airflows and design systems to suit.
2. Interpret customer ductwork and equipment drawings.
3. Assist in creating and maintaining standard libraries.
4. Contribute to continuous improvement.
5. Duly attend team meetings and contribute to the team development topic.
6. Communicate with customers and consultants to confirm information and requirements.
7. Liaise with project managers, revise drawings as required.

Hours of work are Monday to Friday: 08:45 am Monday to Thursday and 9:00 am to 4:00 pm on a Friday.
