Job description

Duct Hygiene Operative

Hardworking, Hands-on People Wanted

If you're not afraid of hard graft, enjoy physical work, and want to be part of a growing, fast-paced industry, this is the role for you. Our North Manchester-based company is expanding rapidly, and we need reliable, hardworking individuals to join our team as Duct Hygiene Operatives on a full-time, permanent basis.

This is a hands-on job where you'll be well rewarded for putting in the effort. You'll be travelling to various locations, some local, some further afield to carry out maintenance and deep cleaning of catering ducting systems. Some jobs will require overnight stays, but all travel time is paid, hotels are covered in advance, and there's an additional £18 per night allowance.

What You'll Be Doing

1. Carrying out deep cleaning of kitchens, ducting systems, and extractors
2. Working at heights (full training provided)
3. Following TR19 guidelines to clean and inspect ducting
4. Completing reports and attaching before-and-after photos
5. Travelling across the UK, with some overnight stays when required

What We're Looking For

1. A strong work ethic this role is for grafters, not clock-watchers
2. A full UK driving licence (for driver roles)
3. Based in Manchester, Greater Manchester, Bolton, or nearby
4. Willing to work early mornings, afternoons, nights, and occasional weekends (paid at higher rates)
5. Able to work away from home Monday to Thursday when required
6. Able to pass a DBS check
7. Basic computer skills to complete reports
