Job summary

Airborne Environmental Consultants in Manchester seeks a Dual Trained Asbestos & Legionella Trainer to deliver and design open and bespoke training courses for internal staff and external delegates. You will create materials, assess learners, coach participants, and liaise with clients and colleagues to ensure courses run smoothly, with occasional away and weekend work depending on client needs.

The role requires at least 3 years site experience, BOHS qualifications, and a proactive, flexible

Qualifications

• 3 years asbestos site experience minimum.
• 3 years legionella site experience minimum.
• BOHS qualifications (P401-P405 and/or CoCA) and P900-P904 where applicable.
• Background in asbestos/health and safety.
• Background in legionella risk assessments and health and safety.
• Excellent trainer communication skills.
• Flexible and committed to making a difference.

Responsibilities

• Delivery of training courses covering BOHS, IATP and other awarding bodies for internal staff and external delegates.
• Create, design, deliver and evaluate courses.
• Ensure training courses run smoothly.
• Liaise with training administrator, training manager, trainers and colleagues.
• Liaise with clients regarding training needs.
• Collect and pass on delegate feedback forms.
• Scan training documents and generate certificates.
• Build relationships with key clients and colleagues.
• Coordinate with other trainers about shared resources.
• Attend monthly training meetings.
• Occasional away and weekend work depending on client needs.

Salary:£30-40k (DOE)
AEC is looking to grow our training team and bring in a brand new Asbestos & Legionella Trainer. This role will be responsible for the delivery and design of open and bespoke asbestos and legionella training courses and training of internal AEC colleagues.
In this role you will deliver engaging and impactful training sessions to diverse audiences, design and develop training materials tailored to various learning styles, assess learners' needs and adapt strategies to ensure their success as well as providing ongoing coaching, feedback, and support to help participants thrive.

What You'll Be Doing

• Delivery of training courses, covering BOHS, IATP and other awarding bodies, covering internal staff training and external fee-paying delegates

We're Looking For Someone Who:

• 3 years Asbestos site experience minimum, BOHS qualifications ranging from P401-P405 and/or CoCA.
• 3 years Legionella site experience minimum, BOHS qualifications ranging from P900-P904.
• Background in asbestos and/or health and safety
• Background in legionella risk assessments and health and safety
• Communicate effectively with people as a trainer.
