Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer (Electrical Bias)

Location: Dungannon Area
Hours: Monday to Friday, Days & Evenings (No Nights)
Salary: £40k-£45k
Type: Full-time, Permanent

A well-established meat processing facility in the Dungannon area is currently seeking a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer with an electrical bias to join their experienced engineering team. This is a fantastic opportunity to step into a key role within a fast-paced, high-volume production environment that offers variety, challenge, and long-term career potential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose faults and carry out electrical and mechanical repairs on processing and packaging equipment
  • Complete scheduled preventative maintenance tasks to reduce downtime
  • Provide reactive support across the factory to keep operations running smoothly
  • Work across a variety of systems including electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment
  • Contribute to process improvement and equipment efficiency initiatives
  • Maintain the factory's utility systems and general upkeep of facilities
  • Promote and uphold high safety and quality standards in line with food industry compliance requirements
  • Ensure all engineering systems are operating safely and effectively


What We're Looking For:
Essential Criteria:

  • Time-served in an electrical discipline with strong mechanical knowledge
  • Level 3 Qualification in relevant discipline
  • Previous maintenance experience in a manufacturing or production setting (food industry experience desirable)
  • Effective fault-finding and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities
  • A flexible and proactive approach to work
