Job summary

The Fairisle Schools comprises Fairisle Infant & Nursery School and Fairisle Junior School. We are seeking a skilled Site Manager to lead the day-to-day premises, facilities and grounds across both sites, ensuring safety, cleanliness and welcoming environments for children, staff and visitors.

You will work closely with the Executive Business Manager and Headteachers to supervise cleaning teams, manage routine maintenance and oversee external contractors, with lettings support where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operational management of premises, facilities and grounds across two school sites.
• Supervise cleaning teams, manage routine maintenance and oversee external contractors.
• Act as principal keyholder, manage premises security, alarms and out-of-hours calls.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, complete routine checks and risk assessments.
• Maintain safe, clean and attractive outdoor grounds and set up for events.
• Coordinate lettings and provide out-of-hours support where applicable for additional pay.
