Join a family-run business where you can thrive in a supportive and fun environment. As a Dual Site Maintenance Team Leader, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring our hotels are well-maintained and welcoming for guests. This full-time position offers a competitive salary and opportunities for career growth. Enjoy exclusive discounts, leadership development programs, and a friendly team atmosphere. If you have a passion for maintenance and a hands-on approach, this is the perfect opportunity for you to shine in the beautiful Scottish Highlands.
Be part of the family...
We’re a family business through and through – family owned, family run, with a warm family welcome for guests and team alike. Our seven hotels are unique and set in three stunning Scottish locations. Some are big, some are small, but all offer good food & drink, great beds, a ton of things to do – and a fun place to work.
The Isles of Glencoe Hotel & The Ballachulish Hotel
These two hotels sit in one of Scotland’s most spectacular settings – right on the shores of Loch Leven and nestled into the dramatic Glencoe landscape. Whether guests come to climb the peaks, explore the Highlands or simply enjoy the view, both hotels offer warm hospitality and memorable experiences in equal measure.
About the role
We’re looking for a Dual Site Maintenance Team Leader to help keep both of our Glencoe properties in top shape. You’ll support our Maintenance Manager in leading the day-to-day running of the maintenance team across both sites, ensuring everything from quick fixes to scheduled works are handled efficiently and to a high standard.
It’s a varied role, where you’ll split your time between hands-on tasks and leading the team. You’ll respond to guest needs quickly, take pride in maintaining the appearance and safety of our hotels, and support ongoing improvements with a can-do attitude.
This is a full time role offering a competitive salary up to £35,000 per annum dependent on experience. Live in accommodation may also be available.
What we need from you
Proven experience in a maintenance or building services environment, ideally with previous supervisory or leadership experience.
Practical skills across general trades such as painting, joinery, plumbing, or basic electrics.
A good understanding of health & safety and building compliance standards.
A positive, hands-on approach with pride in your work and a sharp eye for detail.
A friendly, approachable manner – you’ll often be the face of our team when interacting with guests.
A full UK driving licence – essential for moving between sites.
