Job summary

Marshalls plc is seeking aDual site Engineering Stores Controller to support our Maltby/Ranskill engineering teams. You will help exceed KPIs for schedule compliance, manage inventory levels and ensure spares are catalogued and available to support asset reliability.

You will report to the Dual Site Administration and Stores Manager, maintaining a safe, organised stores environment. Join Marshalls to contribute to reliable site operations while upholding high safety standards and efficiency

Qualifications

  • Experience in automated manufacturing with safety standards.
  • Experience with CMMS and stock management systems.
  • Ability to identify engineering equipment (PLC/servo drives, pneumatics).
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Good IT skills and ability to use inventory software.
  • IOSH Managing Safely / NEBOSH General Certificate desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Support engineering teams to meet KPIs for schedule compliance and inventory levels.
  • Identify, catalogue and ensure availability of essential engineering spares.
  • Maintain a safe, organised, cost-effective stores facility.
  • Report to the Dual Site Administration and Stores Manager.

We're looking for a Dual site engineering stores controller to join the team and play a key role in shaping innovative solutions and supporting our long-term success.

So what's the mission?

You will support our Engineering teams to exceed KPIs for schedule compliance, work volume and inventory levels and drive a proactive approach to the prevention of equipment failure. You will ensure that appropriate engineering spares and inventory is identified, catalogued and available to support asset reliability. You will report to our Dual Site Administration and Stores Manager and strive to maintain a safe, organised, cost effective, and proactive stores facilities.

What are the mission-critical skills?
  • Experience of operating in an automated manufacturing operation with relevant safety systems, quality and housekeeping standards
  • Experience of computerised maintenance management systems (CMMS)
  • Experience of spares and or stock management systems
  • Able to identify key engineering equipment (PLC's, servo drives, pneumatics, hydraulics etc.) would be beneficial
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral with the ability to accurately complete calculations
  • Strong IT skills and experience using administrative or inventory systems.
  • IOSH Managing Safely / NEBOSH General Certificate is desirable
