About The Role

Shift Pattern: 4 on, 4 off.

We are looking for a multi-skilled security officer to join our team. In this dynamic role, you will ensure the safety and security of our customers, retailers, and staff. You will achieve this by conducting regular patrols, completing reactive and scheduled cleaning tasks, and responding to incidents on the estate. This role requires a Security and CCTV SIA License along with the willingness to clean and get involved.

Main Responsibilities

• Patrolling the site to ensure safety, security, and cleanliness
• Advising and assisting retailers where necessary
• Daily general cleaning of the site, involving the use of cleaning machinery
• Reviewing CCTV footage
• Ensuring all daily tasks are completed within deadline requirements.

Health & Safety Accountabilities

• Communicate regularly with colleagues through formal and informal channels on safety matters to ensure a free flow of ideas and high morale.
• Ensure that the OCS safety image is reflected positively through your actions and those of your colleagues.
• Maintain personal H&S competence and skill level, e.g., attending Managing Safety programmes and other safety events.
• Take responsibility for ensuring that plant and equipment are maintained and fit for purpose.

• SIA Qualification for security and CCTV
• Confidence in independent working
