Location: Chorley
Salary: £60,000 £65,000 (dependent on experience)

Are you an experienced Registered Manager looking for a new challenge? This is a rare and exciting opportunity to lead two brand new 2-bed EBD homes in Chorley as a Dual-Registered Manager.

You ll be joining a reputable provider led by a Director with over 20 years of experience in residential childcare. With a focus on quality, team culture, and positive outcomes, this provider offers genuine long-term development and career progression.

About the Role:

As the Dual-Registered Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of both homes, ensuring outstanding care, regulatory compliance, and a supportive, therapeutic environment for children and staff alike. You'll be instrumental in setting the vision and culture from day one.

Key Responsibilities: Leadership & Team Development
  • Manage, support, and develop a team of Support Workers and Seniors

  • Foster a person-centred, therapeutic environment

  • Provide ongoing mentoring, supervision, and performance reviews

Care & Safeguarding
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of young people with EBD

  • Implement and manage individual care plans and behavioural strategies

  • Work collaboratively with social workers, families, and other professionals

Compliance & Quality Assurance
  • Maintain full compliance with Ofsted regulations and safeguarding standards

  • Ensure high standards in all policies, procedures, and reporting

  • Continuously monitor, evaluate, and improve service performance

Proven experience as a Registered Manager in residential childcare
Strong knowledge of EBD and complex needs
Skilled in team leadership and staff development
Excellent understanding of Ofsted frameworks and safeguarding
