Location: Greater Manchester Two Locations
Salary: up to £90,000 with an attractive bonus structure in place of up to £10,000

We re on the hunt for a dynamic Dual Registered Manager to oversee two well-established, Ofsted-rated Good homes in the Manchester region.

With fully staffed and occupied homes, you ll step into a ready-made leadership role where your expertise, passion, and vision will shape young lives and inspire a dedicated team. Dual Registered Manager Children s

  • Lead and support a team of professionals, including Deputy Managers, Senior Residential Care Workers, and Residential Care Workers;
  • Champion safeguarding protocols, ensuring the safety and well-being of every child and young person;
  • Implement and uphold our operating model, ensuring consistency, compliance, and excellence;
  • Regularly review placement plans, risk assessments, and core strategies to achieve the best outcomes for young people;
  • Create a warm, open, and supportive atmosphere, fostering strong relationships between staff and children;
  • Enhance links between the home and the local community, helping young people engage and grow;
  • Empower young people by involving them in their care plans, reviews, and preparations for independence;
  • Recruit, train, and develop staff to build a skilled, motivated, and compassionate team;
  • Manage budgets efficiently, ensuring financial sustainability and operational effectiveness;
  • Ensure the home environment is safe, welcoming, and conducive to positive development.

Dual Registered Manager Children s

  • Level 3 Diploma in Children and Young People in Residential Childcare;
  • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare;
  • A current driving licence (required due to the nature of the role);
  • A minimum of 3 years experience in Residential Care, including at least 12 months as a home manager;
  • Expertise in working with young people with complex behavioural issues;
  • Deep knowledge of Children s Homes Regulations, Social Care Common Inspection Framework, and safeguarding;
  • Strong skills in auditing, budget management, and monitoring processes;
  • A passion for developing staff, creating clear vision and goals, and fostering an aspirational leadership culture;
  • Knowledge of Reg 44 and Reg 45 reporting;
  • Ability to create high-quality care, effective leadership, and positive relationships with young people.
