Job summary

Sureserve Energy Services Meters is seeking a Dual Fuel Smart Meter Engineer to replace gas and electricity meters in customers’ homes and provide a thorough demonstration and after-care support. The role includes meter maintenance and prospect to join a growing national team.

Banding A/B details show £39,923–£41,571 per annum, with OTR £48–53K and £60 weekly bonus. Excellent benefits and 29 days leave are offered.

Qualifications

• MET1 required.
• CCN1/CMA1/CMA3 certifications required.
• Single phase electric knowledge required.
• MOCOPA (1a and 1c) knowledge required.
• REGT1 and polyphase electric knowledge desirable.
• Full UK Driving licence is required.
• Minimum of 6 months experience in fitting dual fuel smart meters.

Responsibilities

• Exchange gas and electricity meters in customers' homes.
• Provide a first-class after-care service including a full demonstration to the customer on using their new meter.
• Repairing and maintaining meters after initial install.
