Job description

MPAAS is looking to recruit experienced Dual Fuel Smart Meter engineers to work on behalf of some of the largest energy suppliers in the UK. We are seeking engineers in all South West postcodes - BA, BS, TA, DT, TQ, EX, PL, TR.

This role includes a 3-phase upskill opportunity.

Considering your salary of £37,000, the Health & Safety Bonus of £500 per quarter, and the Attendance Bonus of £300 per month, your total earnings could be up to £42,600 before any meter fitting bonuses or optional Saturday overtime.

The full package at MPAAS includes:

  • Basic Salary: £37,000
  • Attendance Bonus: £300 per month
  • Health & Safety Bonus: £2,000 annually (paid £500 quarterly)
  • Daily Meter Fit Bonus: £20 per meter after the 5th meter; e.g., 3 duals = £20, 4 duals = £60
  • Optional Saturday Working: £60 for single, £110 for dual
  • On-Call: 1 in 8-week call-out rota
  • Working Hours: Monday-Friday, 42.5 hours/week, 8:00 am - 5:30 pm (1 hour lunch)
  • Holidays: 23 days + 8 bank holidays, plus 1 incremental service day, up to 25 days total
  • Holiday Buy & Sell Scheme: Option to buy up to 5 extra days or sell excess days over statutory minimum
  • Private Medical Care: Optional with Vitality
  • Life Assurance: 2x annual salary
  • Pension: 5% employee, 3% employer
  • Refer a Friend: £500 for successful referral

Requirements:

  • At least 6 months' experience as a qualified Dual Fuel Smart Meter Engineer
  • Manual driving license with no more than 6 points
  • Clean DBS check with no unspent convictions
  • Willing to travel to Haydock, Merseyside for induction
