Where will you be working?

This role is within the Metering division, the UK's leading provider of metering services in the energy retail sector. They offer efficient and flexible solutions for gas, electricity, and water meters. Want to be part of it?

What will you be doing?
As a Smart Meter Engineer, you'll join our client's Metering team, supporting major energy suppliers like EON, OVO, and EDF. Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Installing smart meters (dual fuel)
  • Investigating non-communicating meters
  • Handling emergency and maintenance appointments

You will work independently in the field, meeting new people daily, and providing excellent customer service. You will explain meter functions and safety procedures clearly and respond promptly to restore gas or electricity during outages.

What you'll bring:

  • A valid UK driving licence (held for at least 1 year, with no more than 6 points)
  • Qualifications such as CCN1 / CMA1 / CMA3 or NVQ Level 2 in Smart Metering (Dual Fuel)
  • Experience installing gas and electric smart meters
  • Previous MOCOPA experience

Additional skills (not essential) that are a bonus:

  • REGT1, 3-phase, or CT metering
