Qualifications

Isle of Islay - Field based - £41,795 with OTE up to £54,000 with exceptional benefits (below) - Sign on Bonus: £6, 000 (for engineers based in Scotland) - Quarterly Install Bonus: between £3, 000 and £6, 000 per year

As a Dual Fuel Engineer, you’ll be responsible for installing and maintaining smart gas and electric meters in homes and businesses.

This is more than just an installation role — you’ll be mentoring junior engineers, championing best practice, and helping to create a safer, smarter future for energy.

Our client actively supports and encourages professional development including internal and external accredited courses, upskilling (get qualified for new technologies), study support and E-Learning and internal promotion.

What We’re Looking For

  • CMA1/CCN1, REGT1, MET1 and MET2 certifications

  • Level 2 Diploma in Smart Metering (Dual Fuel/Power) or proof of electrical competence

  • Previous experience in Dual Fuel Smart Metering

  • A full, clean UK driving licence

  • Strong communication and customer service skills

  • Technical confidence and a proactive attitude
