Dual Fuel Commercial Metering Engineer - Glasgow

Department: YUS - FT13 - General Engineers

Employment Type: Permanent - Full Time

Location: Glasgow

Reporting To: Regional Field Manager

Compensation: £37,000 - £39,000 / year

Description

Basic Salary: £37,000 – £39,000. Realistic earning potential of £43,000 to £47,000.

Domestic to Commercial upskilling provided.

Job bonus after 3 meters (NOT DUALS)! Overtime opportunities, Quality bonus, Refer a friend scheme.

Hours: 40 hours Monday – Friday 8am – 5pm, OOH services 6am – 8am, 5pm – 8pm.

We’re looking for talented and ambitious Metering Engineers to join our rapidly growing business, working in the Commercial Sector. We have a unique and exciting opportunity for passionate and motivated individuals to join our journey to grow our gas and electric metering team.

Upon joining us, Yü will be upskilled (if required) to:

• Three phase
• Medium pressure

We also have opportunities to upskill to:

• Half Hourly / CT Metering
• Gas U16 – U40

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

Essential Qualifications / Experience:

• Smart Metering (Dual Fuel) Experience
• Industry Qualifications: CMA1/CCN1 + MET1 (or equivalent)
• Certificate in Power (Logic or equivalent)

Desirable:

• MET4 – Small commercial gas metering
• Current Transformer (CT)
• Three Phase
• REGT1-Medium Pressure

Additional Requirements:

• UK Driving Licence
• Pass a colour blindness test
• Pass a DBS check
