The Role
This exciting role requires a Dual Diagnosis Practitioner to deliver excellent evidence-based drugs and alcohol support to service users, their significant others including family members, friends, and carers experiencing substance misuse issues and mental health conditions (dual diagnosis).
The role involves managing a protected caseload of individuals with dual diagnosis, coordinating and delivering assessments, evidence-based interventions (brief and structured), recovery planning, and aftercare planning.
The Service
Via Brent, New Beginnings is a fully integrated substance misuse service providing psychosocial and clinical interventions in partnership with Central and North West London NHS Foundation Trust (CNWL). The service operates across two hubs: Cobbold Road and the Willesden Centre for Health. The team promotes recovery and works with individuals affected by substance misuse, aiming to improve health, wellbeing, and functioning of Brent residents, regardless of circumstances.
Location
This position is based across both New Beginnings hubs and remotely across the borough, including at Central Middlesex Hospital at least once a week.
