Job summary

Zest Business Group is seeking an experienced Dental Practice Manager to lead day-to-day operations across two private practices in Crawley and Old Coulsdon. You will oversee patient care, optimize workflows, manage budgets and profitability, and drive staff performance to maintain high standards.

You will supervise teams, handle HR issues, ensure CQC compliance, and implement effective communication with patients and staff. Salary from 38k with all relevant fees paid.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year's experience within the dental industry.
• Proven experience in dental practice management and day-to-day operations.
• Good financial and commercial awareness with cost monitoring.
• Excellent people management and leadership skills.
• Understanding of HR regulations, policies and procedures.
• Knowledge of CQC requirements and compliance.
• Strong communication skills with patients and teams.
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Proficient IT skills including SOE, Word and Excel.

Job description

We are seeking an experienced and driven Dental Practice Manager to lead the day-to-day operations and support for two established private dental practices in Crawley and Old Coulsdon.Both practices are well established and situated in excellent locations, with a strong focus on delivering high-quality patient care and creating a positive environment for our teams.

We are looking for someone who is confident in practice management, enjoys working with people and has the drive to support the continued growth and success of both practices.

The Role

As Practice Manager, you will

• Oversee daily operations of the dental practice, ensuring efficient workflow and high-quality patient care.
• Manage financial aspects, including budgeting and accounting, to maintain profitability.
• Supervise staff, fostering a positive work environment and addressing any human resource issues.
• Implement effective communication strategies to enhance patient interactions and team collaboration.
• Ensure compliance with dental regulations and standards, leveraging relevant experience to improve practice operations.

What We're Looking For

Essential Experience & Skills;

• At least 1 year's experience within the dental industry, ideally in a practice management or senior role
• Proven experience in dental practice management and day-to-day operations
• Strong financial and commercial awareness, with the ability to monitor and manage costs effectively
• Excellent people management and leadership skills
• A good understanding of HR regulations, policies and procedures
• Knowledge and understanding of CQC requirements and compliance
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the confidence to communicate effectively with both patients and team members
• Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail
• Good IT skills, including experience with SOE, Microsoft Word and Excel
• The ability to work confidently across two sites and manage competing priorities
