Job summary

Northampton School is seeking a Design Technology technician to join the Art & Design Department on a 39-week term-time basis. The role involves supplying materials and equipment for lessons, supporting classes directly and assisting the technician team with admin tasks.

Work covers food technology and product design, with hours between 30 and 37 per week and a job share option. Successful candidates will have strong organisational skills and be willing to complete Level 2 Food Safety & Hygiene,

A Design Technology technician post in the Art & Design Department at Northampton School, part of The NSB Trust, for November 2026 on a 39-week term-time basis. The work is keeping teachers supplied with materials and equipment for lessons, supporting classes directly and helping the team with administrative tasks. It covers both food technology and product design, with hours of 30 to 37 a week and job share considered. Specialist food hygiene, machine and first aid training follows appointment, and visa sponsorship is not available.
