Alcester Secondary School in Alcester, Warwickshire, is seeking a skilled Design & Technology Technician to join our vibrant DT department. You’ll help keep workshops running, maintain machinery, prep materials and assist students with product design projects.

You should have workshop safety knowledge and experience with band saws, drills, laser cutters, CAD/CAM software or 3D printing. This is a full-time, term-time only role starting January 2027 or ASAP.

Competenze

• Strong workshop safety knowledge and ability to follow safety protocols.
• Experience with workshop machinery and maintaining equipment.
• Familiarity with CAD/CAM software or 3D printing is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and keep workshops running smoothly.

Mansioni

• Maintain and set up workshop machinery and tools.
• Prep materials and assist students with design projects.
• Support DT staff and ensure safe, orderly workshops.
