A local educational institution in the West of England is seeking a DT Technician to provide support to teaching staff and enable students in engaging lessons. This role does not require specific educational experience, and offers on-the-job training. Salary: CSET 11 £24,790 FTE, £10,373 prorated
Hours: 18 hours per week, 39 weeks per year (TTO + INSET)

Location: The Castle School, Thornbury
You will provide technical and administrative support to teaching staff, including in-class support with lessons. You’ll be enabling our students to receive a full experience of DT in engaging lessons.
You would need experience in working with a range of different materials and equipment, however, you do not need to have specific education experience as we can provide on-the-job training. If you are interested in considering a career move into a role which includes your design, manufacture and/or DT background but also an opportunity to contribute to developing student knowledge and skills, this position could be for you.
