GLEBELANDS SCHOOL – CRANLEIGH

Part Time DT Technician

Glebelands School is a community secondary school for students between the ages of 11 and 16. We are part of Learning Partners Academy Trust and you will be joining us at an exciting stage in the school's development. We are recruiting for a part-time DT Technician to join our successful school to start as soon as possible.

Responsibilities

• Assist teachers with the preparation of materials for Art, Textiles and Design Technology (DT).
• Operate and respond to departmental requests to prepare and deliver materials to lessons to ensure students have the materials they require.
• Manage and deliver materials and equipment within the DT department as required.

Requirements and Qualities

• Experience with using Microsoft Word and Outlook is desirable.
• Willingness to operate various equipment and to work in a school environment is desirable but not essential.
• Be an organised and efficient colleague with the ability to manage your own time, priorities and deadlines.
• Good sense of humour, strong communication skills and enjoy being part of a team.

Hours and Pay

Grade LP5 starting at £28,434 (full time equivalent) for 38.4 weeks (term time plus two INSET days). Actual salary for 15 hours, starting at £10,034 per annum.
