TeacherActive are proud to be working with a Secondary School in Pontypridd. We are actively recruiting for DT Technicians to support our school network with quality and consistent staff.

The role of a DT Technician is to support DT workshops on a day-to-day, in the longer term, or on a permanent basis. The role does not include planning and preparation, but requires strong communication and solid workshop skills.

Responsibilities

• Support DT workshops in a school environment on a day-to-day, long-term, or permanent basis.
• Communicate effectively with staff and students and contribute to a productive workshop environment.

Qualifications

• CACHE Level 2/3 or 6 months of experience within a DT/woodwork environment.
• Experience in a DT workshop or woodwork setting.
• Confidence working with wood (e.g., cutting, shaving).
• Dedication to helping in the classroom where needed.
