This secondary school, located within a commutable distance from Oxford, is actively seeking an enthusiastic and versatile DT Technician to join their team ASAP on a part-time (13 hours per week) permanent basis. You will be responsible for supporting the DT teacher with tasks such as preparing the classroom/workshop, supporting students on a 1-to-1 basis across key stages 3 to 5, and operating woodwork and metalwork machinery. Previous experience in a similar role is beneficial but not essential; the school is focused on hiring a passionate individual willing to learn. This role offers an excellent opportunity for aspiring teachers and graduates to gain valuable experience within a school environment.

The staff are welcoming, and this position provides a great opportunity to take on additional responsibilities in the future. The role pays a pro-rata salary of £7,300 - £7,500 based on thirteen hours per week.
