Are you a passionate and creative Textiles Teacher ready to inspire the next generation of designers? We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Design & Technology Teacher (Textiles Specialism) to join our vibrant secondary school community in Wickford this September.


About the Role:
Position: DT Teacher - Textiles Specialist
Location: Wickford, Essex
Start Date: September 2025
Contract: Full-time, permanent (or long-term supply considered)
Salary: Competitive, based on experience and pay scale


What Were Looking For:
We are looking for an innovative and committed educator who can deliver engaging and practical lessons in Textiles, while also contributing to the wider DT curriculum. You will:
Inspire students with your subject knowledge and creativity
Plan and deliver exciting, high-quality lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4
Support students in developing both technical and design skills
Contribute to a supportive and forward-thinking DT department


Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
