Job Description:

As a Design & Technology Teacher, you will:

  • Plan and deliver high-quality lessons that challenge and inspire students
  • Foster creativity, problem-solving, and practical skills in a hands-on learning environment
  • Guide students through exciting projects in Resistant Materials, Engineering, or Textiles
  • Use a variety of teaching methods and resources to engage learners of all abilities
  • Assess, monitor, and provide feedback to support student progress
  • Contribute to the wider school community and be an active part of a supportive team

What We’re Looking For:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential!
  • Experience teaching Design & Technology at Key Stages 3 and 4 (KS5 experience is a bonus!)
  • A strong passion for your subject with the ability to bring lessons to life
  • Enhanced DBS (Don’t have one? No problem – we can process this on your behalf!)
  • EWC Registration – or willingness to obtain it
  • Excellent classroom management and communication skills
