Job summary

A reputable education recruitment agency is seeking a Design & Technology Secondary Teacher for a fixed-term contract in Crewe from December 2025 to February 2026. The successful candidate will teach a specialist engineering curriculum and inspire students to be creative. Previous teaching experience in Design & Technology and QTS is required. Competitive pay and ongoing support are offered.

Design & Technology Secondary Teacher - Crewe - Fixed-Term Contract

Are you passionate about helping students achieve their best in the classroom?

Academics are working with a Secondary School in Crewe who are looking for a creative and committed D&T Teacher to join their team in December 2025 through to February 2026.

Responsibilities
  • Able to use CAD software including SolidWorks
  • Teach the schools own specialist engineering curriculum
  • Inspire and motivate pupils to be creative and individual
  • Deliver engaging lessons in the school\'s state-of-the-art facilities
  • Maintain DT equipment and machinery to ensure safety and functionality
Requirements / Qualifications
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - or equivalent to
  • Previous experience teaching Design & Technology in UK Secondary Schools at KS4 and KS5
  • Strong practical/technical skills and experience working with tools and equipment
  • Good knowledge of Health & Safety procedures
  • Enthusiastic, supportive, and able to build strong relationships
  • Proven ability to maintain a positive and productive classroom environment
