DT Teacher

Academic Appointments Ltd is currently working with a North Yorkshire partner Academy to recruit a dedicated DT Teacher. This is a part time DT Teacher placement and will be from September 2024 until the end of the year, in the first instance, with a potential of a permanent offer for the right candidate.

The successful candidate will be teaching DT up to KS4 and will have responsibility for their own exam classes.

This is a ‘Good’ rated school where behaviour around the school is often excellent and it is consistently good in lessons. Students have good attitudes to learning and respond well when they are offered opportunities to learn independently through self-directed research.

Requirements:

• QTS or relevant teaching qualification
• Well qualified with an honours degree in relevant subject
• 2 x references from educational establishments
• Evidence of an exemplary track record
• A passion for success and quality teaching
• An Enhanced DBS certificate registered with the Update Service
