Design and Technology Teacher – Scarborough
Start Date: September 2025

Teaching Personnel is seeking a dedicated and skilled Design and Technology Teacher to join a forward-thinking secondary school in Scarborough from September 2025. This is an exciting opportunity to teach a subject that combines creativity, problem-solving and hands-on learning.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality DT lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, with specialisms in Product Design, Resistant Materials, or Engineering being particularly desirable. You will play a key role in helping students develop practical skills and an understanding of real-world applications of design and technology.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Plan and deliver engaging and innovative DT lessons
  2. Monitor student progress and adapt teaching to meet individual needs
  3. Maintain a safe and organised workshop environment

Requirements:
