DT Teacher - PRU - Brent - Immediate

Are you a qualified DT Teacher looking for a new role in Brent? Do you have experience working with students who have SEMH needs or challenging behaviour? Are you a DT Teacher available for a full-time, long-term opportunity in a PRU?

If you answered yes to the questions above, then this DT Teacher position is for you!

The Role - DT Teacher

Qualiteach are looking for a passionate and resilient DT Teacher to join a Pupil Referral Unit (PRU) based in Brent on a full-time, long-term basis. As a DT Teacher, you will deliver practical and engaging lessons to small groups of students aged 11-16, many of whom have been excluded from mainstream education due to SEMH needs or behavioural challenges. You will need to be confident in classroom management and have a calm, supportive approach to teaching. A background in working in PRUs or with hard-to-reach students is highly desirable.

The School - PRU in Brent

This PRU provides an alternative education for students who have struggled in mainstream settings. The school supports a nurturing yet structured learning environment and offers ongoing CPD and staff support.

To be considered for this role, you should:

  • Be a qualified DT Teacher
  • Have experience working with students who have SEMH needs or challenging behaviour
  • Be available for a full-time, long-term opportunity in a PRU
  • Ideally have experience in a PRU or alternative provision setting
