This full-time role involves teaching DT up to Key Stage 4 and offers the structure of a two-week timetable, ensuring variety while allowing space for well-paced, high-quality lessons.

DT Teacher responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging and practical DT lessons across KS3 and KS4
• Contribute to curriculum development and promote innovative project-based learning
• Track and assess student progress, offering targeted feedback and support
• Inspire students to develop technical, creative, and critical thinking skills

DT Teacher requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised UK teaching qualification
• Experience teaching DT at secondary level, ideally up to KS4
• A creative, hands-on approach with strong classroom and behaviour management
• Ability to work collaboratively and contribute to a high-achieving team
• Passionate about encouraging young people to explore and excel in practical subjects
