Job description

Academic Appointments Ltd is currently working with a Secondary School in Bradford to recruit a dedicated DT Food Teacher. This is a full-time DT Food Teacher placement and will be from ASAP to December in the first instance, with a potential for a permanent offer for the right candidate.

The successful candidate will be teaching DT Food to Key Stage 3 and 4. The school has also mentioned that they will consider applications for those wanting part-time work (3 days minimum). The school is based in the centre of Bradford and is easily commutable from the surrounding areas. The department is looking to add an experienced DT Food Teacher who can bring their skills and expertise to an already thriving team. Applications from ECTs will also be considered.

Requirements:

  • Well qualified with an honours degree in a relevant subject
  • 2 x references from educational establishments
  • Evidence of an exemplary track record
  • A passion for success and quality teaching
  • An Enhanced DBS certificate registered with the Update Service
