Nottingham City Council seeks a strategic leader for DSVA/VAWG to guide commissioning, policy and cross-agency collaboration in Nottingham. The role focuses on reducing violence, improving survivor outcomes and driving effective partnership work across the city and region.

You will oversee the DSVA/VAWG team, manage project partnerships and ensure delivery against statutory duties in a diverse urban setting.

Formación

• Specialist DSVA/VAWG gender-informed expertise and experience in developing and delivering ideas collaboratively.
• Diplomacy and the ability to speak truth to power to deliver strategy and outcomes for all citizens in Nottingham.
• Experience of survivor-focused commissioning and performance management of DSVA/VAWG services to deliver DSVA strategy and statutory duties.
• Experience of developing strategic approaches to identifying and exploiting funding opportunities to commission specialist DSVA/VAWG services.
• Experience of line management of an expert team and managing partnership and project teams through change.

Responsabilidades

• Provide strategic leadership for the Council's approach to DSVA/VAWG and support regional partnerships.
• Lead on the delivery of partnership commissioning to improve DSVA/VAWG outcomes for survivors, communities and perpetrators in Nottingham.
• Provide effective leadership to the DSVA/VAWG team and multi-disciplinary project teams, ensuring robust planning and decision making.
